I think nowadays this museum stays behind with being pro active to the customer. We thought it would be a fun experience to visit this museum, but we were outside within 1 hour and My friend and I visited this museum on our business trip to Berlin. The exhibition is distributed over two floors. You start from the top one in which it is possible to experience an useless and extremely boring string of documents and photo about Beate Uhse who created this museum her long-held dream The first floor is fully dedicated to a lots of drawings which are repetetive and completely devoid of any molecule of libido.
You could have a look in the sex shop when you enter on the ground floor, but it is quite similar to what you can find near your home. Do not waste your time and money 8 euros per person!!! My wife and I thought it would be amusing to visit this museum on our trip to Berlin.
Having said that, don't bother. The museum is split over 2 floors. You start on the top floor which is an utterly hopeless, sparse, uninteresting museum about Beate Uhse who set up the museum and started sex shops in Germany. The floor below had lots of drawings which were repetetive and uninformative. By all means have a look in the sex shop as you enter on the ground floor, but do not waste your time or money visiting the actual museum.
Complete rip off at 8 euros per person. The Berlin lonely planets sells the museum pretty good. Actually only the sexshop is interesting the part which is free but do not reflect what is in the lonely planet so I am guessing it's outdated. The museum is on two floors, one pretty much empty about Beate Uhse and another with sex pictures mainly from France and Japan.
A total waste of time and 9 EUR Please use these characters as a warning not to waste time of money Entrance is 9 Euros.
